I WANT A NEW SIGN: What can I have? Our on-site consultation process helps both parties be on the same page as to design specifications and expectations.
IS THERE A STANDARD SIZE? There are some standard sizes for basic signs like pool / tennis signs, real estate signs and parking signs. However, a monument sign can be any custom size.
WHAT IS YOUR MONUMENT SIGN WARRANTY? All our signs are warranted for one year.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PARTIAL VEHICLE WRAP AND A FULL VEHICLE WRAP?
FULL VEHICLE WRAP – Covers every area of exposed paint on the vehicle.
PARTIAL VEHICLE WRAP – only covers part of a side or a body panel of your car, van or bus. Partial wraps may also be called Vehicle Lettering.
IS THE COLOR I SEE ON MY MONITOR OR TABLET THE SAME AS MY SIGN? Computer screens are RGB color and not all computer screens are calibrated the same so will not show colors the same. Signs are painted with solid colors so there will always be a slight difference in the color. We provide paint chip colors to give a more accurate color representation for your sign color.
INSTALLING A SIGN: Appen Signs will handle all sign installs.
DO I NEED A PERMIT TO INSTALL MY MONUMENT SIGN? Permitting requirements vary from county to county. Appen Signs will advise if a permit is needed and will handle any and all permitting requirements.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RGB and CMYK? The colors you see on your screen will not be the colors you will see on your printed final. You can avoid this problem by having the document’s color mode set to CMYK. Your monitor will display millions of colors that do not even exist in ink. Is it very rare that colors on your screen match what is being printed. By setting your document to CMYK you will be able to tell what colors are best to choose from. We cannot guarantee the colors you see on screen will be exact when printed.
CAN I RETURN MY SIGN FOR A REFUND IF I DON’T LIKE IT? After PROOF approval by the customer, and we start the build process, the customer is committed to buy the sign. However, if the sign is delivered, differs markedly in appearance from the Proof approved, or if the sign is defective or damaged in any way, you may return it and we will issue credit or provide a new sign at Appen Sign’s option. The customer is responsible for verifying correct spelling, numbers, etc. – any errors should be corrected before the PROOF approval.
